JET's Top 20 Singles is one of my favorite magazine staples. I often go through old issues just to see what was dominating radio in any given week/month/year.
August of 1996... good years for both Bad Boy and LaFace! Bad Boy was doing big things as Total & Jodeci/K-Ci & Jojo had hit singles as well as hit features on other records. LaFace was strong in the game with Toni Braxton, Outkast, and Donell Jones making the top 20.
